IPM Essen

In 2025, the Danish potted plant industry celebrated 36 years of participation at IPM Essen.
The trade fair took place from January 28th to 31st, 2025.

Flora Dania coordinated a 300 m² joint stand, designed to reflect the idyllic Danish summer atmosphere. Enriched by the unique Danish concept of hygge, the shared stand featured a cozy café area along with plants and products from the Danish exhibitors.

A special highlight this year was the presentation of 13 industry films by Floradania and the potted plant sector.
These short films, produced in 2024 in collaboration with a video production agency, each explore a specific theme and message, showcasing how the sector collectively addresses sustainability and development. The videos portray the people behind the industry — the production, the drive, the proactive mindset, the innovation, and the passion behind the products.
The aim of the films is to inspire and inform, highlighting the positive initiatives the industry has implemented over the years. These industry films serve to illustrate just how far the Danish potted plant sector has come — and why it remains a vital part of the future.

Visitors had the opportunity to engage in constructive dialogue, explore business opportunities, and discover a wide range of horticultural offerings.
In addition to the 18 nurseries and 2 sales companies exhibiting at the joint stand, 9 other participants attended the fair with their own individual stands.
